The Timberwolf's generous radial frame cutout eliminates the "bell knuckle," allows for a larger grip for reduced perceived recoil, and allows shooters with larger hands to enjoy the concealability of a compact firearm.

The released radius tang aids in a greater grip by effectively lowering the bore axis while distributing waste thrust safely across the web of the hand without hitting the thumb joint. The extended beaver tail protects the hand from sliding motion and disperses the bounce impulse.
